American Tenor Joseph Regan has made a career as a soloist with orchestras, in recital, and opera productions with solo appearances at the Kennedy Center, The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, and Washington National  Cathedral.

Mr. Regan is a highly sought after performer of oratorio works.   As a tenor soloist, Joseph has sung many of the great works of Bach including the Mass in B Minor, St. John Passion, Magnificat, Christmas Oratorio, and more than a dozen cantatas.  He has also appeared as the tenor soloist for Haydn's Creation, Handel's Messiah, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and Choral Fantasy, Orff's Carmina Burana, Rossini's Stabat Mater, and many works for soloist and orchestra. 

In addition to his concert work, Joseph has frequently appeared on the opera stage.  Some of his roles include Azaël in Debussy’s L’Enfant Prodigue with Lyric Opera of Baltimore, Don José in Bizet's Carmen, Pinkerton in Puccini's Madame Butterly , Eurimachus in Monteverdi's Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria, Fenton in Verdi's Falstaff, and Donald in Douglas Moore's Gallantry

This season, Mr. Regan will again sing Bach’s Mass in B Minor,  Gerald Finzi's A Farewell to Arms, and Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass.   He will also participate in two important premieres.  First, the regional premiere of Barbara Allen, a work for Soloists, Choir, and Orchestra in setting of the Appalachian folk tale utilizing Appalachian musical themes.  This will be followed by the world premiere a large scale cantata setting of St. Columba's Hiberno-Latin Poem Altus Prosator  (Seed Scatterer) with the Maryland Choral Society.
